Showcase WV, on Quarrier Street, stocks one of the state's largest selections of all West Virginia-made merchandise, art, foods, and more. Five blocks from the civic center, Downtown Charleston provides stores, food emporiums and other turn-of-the-century magnets. Charleston Town Center, with Build-A-Bear, Schwabe-May, Kaufmann's, JCPenney and Sears, is one of the largest urban shopping malls east of the Mississippi. Kanawha Mall has more than 40 stores and eateries, including Elder-Beerman. Riverwalk Plaza, on MacCorkle Avenue, has T. J. Maxx and S&K Menswear. Southridge Centre, on Corridor G in South Charleston boasts Wal-Mart, Sam's Wholesale Club, Fashion Bug and more. The Shops of Trace Fork, also on Corridor G, have Marshall's, PetsMart and Dick's Sporting Goods, plus Target, Pier 1, and Lowe's.
